4 tools to spy on competitors without copying them
Anaita demonstrates using SEMrush, Traffic Analytics, Phlanx, and Insttrack to research competitors' website traffic, keyword bids, underused marketing channels, and best-performing Instagram content. The takeaway is to use this data to find gaps to exploit and take inspiration from top content, not copy it outright.
The lessons
Use SEMrush to see how much traffic competitors get from Google and which keywords they're bidding on
Check Traffic Analytics to find which channels competitors underutilize, then focus your efforts there
Use Phlanx to check a competitor's Instagram engagement rate and average likes
Use Insttrack filtered by most likes in the last 30 days to find and emulate a competitor's best-performing content
Questions people ask
